Flavoured Friday - Yamaha R6

I'm a petrol head. I have no idea why, because i don't see anyone in my family who is even 10% a petrol head as I am. Of the many things i have liked about coming to the United Kingdom, it is watching Super Cars and Super Bikes at will that i describe to be the best thing. And the first time i laid my eyes on the Yamaha R6, it was all love at first sight. I just couldn't take my eyes off the bike. I just love bikes, and i own a yamaha fazer 150 now, and i got it just for the looks. So when i set my eyes on this bike, i was floored, it destroyed a lifetime ambition of mine. I always wanted to buy an Aston Martin, but after this , all i wanted was a Yamaha R6. I might sound materialistic, but the jives you get when you ride a beast like this one, i'd give up anything in my life for that. It is the dream now, owning the beast. The beast they call Yamaha R6.

Predictably unpredictable !!

I never know what she means to me. I try hard to understand the sceptics of these random thoughts but I cant. A fickle mind as such, it fails to understand reality. Slow poison it may be, yet it is sweet. Solutions never come to you, you need to go look for them. But i don't want to for some strange reason, I'm happy with this, this unpredictable future in front of me.

That man VENKY !!!

This is one incident i will never forget in my life. For that matter, anyone in that room that day will never forget this incident. It was during our fourth year, we all ued to frequent seeni's house in mambalam because of the close proximity it had to Blue chip and the mambalam railway station. On this day, there were close to 10 to 15 people in seeni's house as we were to close to a project review date. And there was Venky among them. Describing venky is very hard, but if you had to describe venky in one sentence, " where he is, fun there is ". Below is a conversation that happened that day, one helluva of conversation, one that will make me smile till my last breath.

Subash : dai venky, andha cd drive la iruka cd ah edu da...

The CD was in Seeni's system and the cd was in that CD drive. Venky was standing right next to it, and once subash asked him, this guy cooly opened the draw and was seriously searching. The draw had loads of CDs and this guy was searching for a CD. Now if you still hadn't understood the joke, in case of a CD drive u just have one CD inside it, so subash asked him to take it. But what venky did was search in the draw, there were loads of CDs in the draw and he wouldn't know what to take out, yet he was searching. Basically, he was searching NOTHING.

Once subash realised the stupidity of venky's actions, he asked venky...

Subash : Dai vengayam, enna da panra draw la ?

Venky furiously replied..

Venky : Dai , Nee dhane Cd ah eduka sonna , adhan theditu iruken...

Subash : Seri, endha CD ah da thedura ?

Then venky realised how stupid he was, and we all burst out laughing. I laughed till death i say, everyone did.

Moments like these make me realise how much Seeni's house brought us all together in our final year at college. And how much i miss those days :(
